Who We Are
Comox Valley Senior Support helps Comox Valley older adults who are experiencing isolation and loneliness, or who are feeling vulnerable due to challenging situations they face or endure. The majority of our programs and services are delivered by screened, trained volunteers; many of them seniors themselves.
Tim Hortons Smile Cookie Campaign
Comox Valley Senior Support was honoured to be selected as a beneficiary of the Tim Hortons Smile Cookie Campaign this year. Thank you, Tim Hortons! The campaign ran Sept. 14 – 20 with two locations supporting us: Lerwick Road (Home Depot) and Ryan Road (Superstore). Sincere gratitude to Jennie Brocklehurst and her Tim Hortons' workers. You were all a delight to be around.
Thank you also to our volunteers who decorated cookies and promoted the event. And, importantly, thank you to everyone who purchased Smile Cookies and supported us. The Smile Cookie Campaign raised $2,992.00 for the Society. Thank you, very much, Tim Hortons!
"Covid-19 has created more isolation and loneliness than ever for vulnerable seniors. Our 100 plus volunteers at Comox Valley Senior Support work hard to ensure that No Senior is Left Alone. "

How to Support Us
With almost 100 volunteers and over 200 active participants the costs of resources adds up. Your donation makes it possible for the Comox Valley Senior Support Society to continue to provide quality programming and services for the older adults we support. We have teamed up with Canada Helps to make donating even easier. We are a Canadian registered charity.
